The Minnesota Vikings acquired running back Jordan Mason from the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick and a swap of draft selections in this year’s draft. Originally an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech, Mason proved his value with strong performances over limited opportunities. With his departure, the 49ers are expected to seek additional running back depth, as McCaffrey and other backups recover from injuries.
